hello. anyone still here?

it's been a while.

life is ... what is the best word? constant. but i have a few built in breaks now so i might pop in every now and then again.

so... what have i been doing lately?... playing rescue heroes. nursing. and... well... that's about it. that and practicing living in the moment. read in screwtape letters... (i guess i've been reading too) the worst thing we can do is to live in the past or in the future. but the present is wonderful because it is connected to eternity. (read screwtape for full explanation) but it's true... when i live in the moment... God is there.

julian is three months and beautiful. emerson is three years and beautiful. they are worth every moment of lost sleep. worth every grey hair. worth every extra inch of flab on my belly. worth every night of staying home when everyone else is out. worth every dirty dish piled up in my sink. worth everything lost. and i think Jesus smiles on me everytime i remember that and act as if it's true.
