things are non-eventful. lying down watching toy story II... again. sometime i will write my analysis of this movie since i've had soooooooo much time to think about it.
okay... here's something to blow your mind. my brother just stopped by and told me he had a dream last night that he thinks might have meant something.
in the dream there was a bright red phoenix sitting on a branch in a tree and on either side were vultures coming to kill the phoenix. but suddenly the phoenix turned and killed the vultures. (might have meant something!?!?)
subconscience or prophetic?.... interesting either way.
my fetal movement counts are coming out great every time. tomorrow we're back at OSU for a barrage of tests.
tonight i return home. i'm feeling a little depressed and not sleeping all that well and i just miss chris like crazy so i thought going home might help. my mom is going to come in the mornings and leave when chris gets home.
tomorrow will be telling and i will most definitely post after i get home.

Ok, I admit it. i am usually a lurker on your blog, but I guess i need to come out from behind the monitor and let you know I read.
In any case, is thereanything we can do to help you guys through this time?
We don't know what you guys like/ dislike, but could we make and bring dinner over some night?
Could we go grocery shopping for you?
Could I bring over some OTHER dvd for the boys to watch? ;-)
Could we stop at the library and get you some books for you and the kids?

I became very interested in dreams a few years back when I was going through some stuff and it came out in my dreams. I read all the Freudian and Jungian stuff which is helpful, but can bog you down if you take it too seriously.
Bottom line is- if your brother thinks the dream is significant, it probably is. He is the best one to figure out if it is subconscious, prophetic, or both.
A good place to start would be to identify how he felt during the dream. Also, identifying what happened to him in the days immediately preceding the dream and/or anticipated events may shed some light on the subject.

you are such a giving person. you really are. you always seem to appear offering help and service whenever it's needed. God bless you! i think we're fine right at the moment. a dinner might be helpful one night but it's not imperative. jamie asked me if i wanted meals organized and i told her i'd accept individual offers but would prefer to still keep the masses for after the baby comes.:) however, it would be nice for chris and my mom i'm sure. (the reason we watch toy story isn't because we don't have other choices but because julian is OBSESSED). just give me a call if you want.

maureen... dear, dear charles. he is just so incredibly dear. and he is a great sweeper.isn't he. house is pretty swept but he's welcome to stop by if he wants. i just don't know if there will be any sweeping. and jamie and the boys are visiting tomorrow sometime. (chris and company cleaned pretty well while i was gone.) maybe next week?

your words are too kind. you are laid up and you need help. we are offering. someday, we might need help and hopefully someone will be around to offer. that's part of being a community... and it's part of loving your brother/sister whether they are Christian... or especially if they are not.
interesting what jeney sid- INTERVENE- huh. seems to me that it reinforces the dream your brother had. maybe God has you slowed down so you can be attuned to your baby's needs and to be able to pray continuously for him... sure seems like he's going to be a special guy- we are not close to you guys, but from a distance, it seems that the spirtual battle is strong around him... but trust that God IS in control (not you!)
ah, toy story OBCESSION... well, there could be much worse things. maybe Julian will grow up to be a toymaker, or a cartoonist, or an animator, or an actor, or a just a funny/ fun person to be around because he understand humor!... ?
ditto what Karen said... we don't mind cooking twice! (it means that we get to try making two cool meals for you! ;-) really, it's ok.
(BTW, i'm not too good with phones. it's not public knowledge, but i guess it is now!)
